Teachers with multiple talents caring for students’ growth and academic progress
Teachers involved in preschool and elementary education need to have all-round knowledge, as well as an understanding of children and the ability to teach appropriately according to the developmental processes of children of a wide range of ages. Moreover, not only the children themselves, but also the environment surrounding them is constantly changing, so teachers are required to have the flexibility, communication skills, and rich humanity necessary to respond to these changes. In the Elementary Education major, there are “Specialized Foundation Subjects” to acquire basic qualities and abilities required of teachers, “Specialized Education Subjects” consisting of subjects related to the basic understanding of education such as teaching, teaching practice and related subjects, etc. Through these classes common to the entire major, we aim to train teachers with a wealth of humanity who have acquired solid knowledge, practical leadership skills, and communication skills.
